Dwarf Jade Beauty

Dwarf Jade Beauty - Mid-season, Rugose, Potato Leaf, 2 to 4 oz., productive, deep green smooth and round fruits.  Barely change color upon ripening though a pale pink blossom end blush develops on many fruits.  Bright green flesh, balanced, full and delicious flavor.  Very stout central stem growing to 4 feet or more.  One of the more productive new Dwarf varieties.  Dwarf Jade Beauty originated from a cross between Golden Dwarf Champion (a medium fruited yellow dwarf) and Green Giant, made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia, and named Sneezy.  The variety was selected and named by Craig Le Houllier after the gemstone Jade, which exhibits coloring similar to the tomato.  Others involved in its development Lisa Moore, Richard Watson (from New Zealand), Howard Kushner, and Bill Minkey.    UNAVAILABLE FOR 2024 OSSI pledged variety
