They thrive in our sandy soil.  We plant one section every 12 to 15 inches and by Fall they have totally closed in.  The hummingbirds love the flowers.  The one problem we have is they produce such large roots they are about 3 to 4 times the size of the root sections commonly sold.


Mixed Type- With all we have going on we decided to just send out  mixtures of the leaf color types and nearly all of  these have red flowers  Sorry with all that went on we barely got enough dug to replant for next year. They should return in 2021.
