BURDOCK
Plant early in the Spring and be careful when weeding as the young plants closely resemble a weed relative. Plant seeds about half inch deep about one seed every inch. Plant about the same time as peas. (Approximately 40 seeds/pkt.) UPDATED FOR 2024
Takinogawa
Takinogawa- 105 days- Long skinny roots that are used in Japanese cooking. We get huge plants here and the roots get rather large. I am still not an expert on how to fix this properly to get the best usable roots. The plants are impressive here and they go to seed and resemble a local weed (our cockle burr) except these got 8 feet tall. Pkt. $1.50 3 pkts. for $3.75 Certified Organic Seed
