Jersey Giants

Jersey Giants originated in the 1880’s from crossing Black Javas, Dark Brahmas and Black Langshans.  The key to Giants is their slow growth.  They have a massive bone structure that they put on first before body mass.  Please remember these grow very slowly.  Jersey Giants have a large single comb with six points.

White Jersey Giant- White version of the magnificent black birds.  Lay brown eggs. We are noticing some interesting things occurring - one of which is the occasional almost lilac grey adult bird.  We have kept a totally closed flock since obtaining these from Mrs. Miller in 1995.  It has been an interesting study in genetics.  Many will not meet APA Standards but are hardy and productive. We have maintained this breed since 1995. Chicks $5.00 each (5)
