Escambia Purple-  83 days- a truly different purple podded bean with black seeds. This was sent to us by Robert Smiley in Alabama and the plants are almost reddish-purple when growing and then there are an abundance of purple pods.  Excellent flavor and tender when young but develops strings as they age.
